So you know a baby is one the way but do you really know what you are getting yourself into when it comes to all the stuff you are going to have to buy. With all the formulas, the car seats, strollers, childproofing, and everything else you have to worry about clothes should be the least of your worries. Unfortunately most new parents get hung up on this issue when it should be a simple part of the experience.
You see when a baby is just a newborn you are not going to want to buy all the fancy designer baby clothes because you are feeding and changing the baby all the time. And when you’re not doing that the baby is sleeping. There just isn’t the amount of time you thought there would be to dress your baby up and show him or her off to others. Eventually, after spending all that money on baby clothes, you end up not even wanting to use them because they are too much of a hassle.

These types of clothes are cheap and easy to deal with when you are constantly changing the baby. Plus all the messes that inevitably happen won’t ruin your baby’s more expensive clothes.

This makes shopping easy and it saves you lots of money in the long run because it keeps you out of the baby boutique stores which cost far more per outfit.
Of course you will want some nice and cute clothes for your baby while he or she is still an infant but you probably don’t need or want as many as many first time parents think they need. Let’s face it, babies grow fast and even if changing the baby’s clothes all the time wasn’t a hassle for you still wouldn’t get a lot of wear on any one outfit. Stick to the cheap necessities in the very beginning that way you can have more money to spend on cute baby clothes when your infant is a little bit older.
